Ok. I like Sarah Palin as much as the next guy and wish nothing but the best for her in whatever her endevors maybe.  But I don’t believe this YouTube video is going to help her in the P.R. department.

Can we stereo type Palin’s followers anymore than this video?

Love to know what you guys think about this video.

When I was in high school I used to draw & paint a lot, not saying that I was any good, but it was just something I’d love to do.  Then life started I went to college, got married, got a job, & had kids so needless to say I stop being creative.  This past week I started drawing again 18 years later and I must say it is a great way to relieve some of the stress in my life.

What is something that you use to do & for whatever reason stop, but would love to pick back up again?

If you had the opportunity to go on national television and impart one good piece of advice to the whole country, what would you say?

Believe it our not.

We are all in different places in life.

Some of us are married with kids and broke.

Some of us are married with no kids and rich.

Some of us are single.

Some of us are divorced with kids and struggling.

Some of us are living paycheck to paycheck.

Some of us are living with our parents again.

We are a real diverse group of people.

As for the Liscum family, we are a happy family of four. We are not perfect and not a model family by far, but what we do works for us.  One of us works for the man, the other of us is self-employed.  We live paycheck to paycheck and yet we see God’s amazing love for us & how he has provided for our every need and then some. Though life is tough and we have some hard times we are happy and loving life! We are living life!

This year, let’s encourage one another and celebrate with one another for those who are in abundance and lift up those who are having a tough time.

Where are you at in life right now?

Saw this yesterday and got the biggest laugh out of it.

OK, so I’m stopped at a traffic light and look over and there is this lady talking to her kid not paying attention to the light that just turned green.  The car behind her beeps their horn for her to go and the lady talking to her kid throws her hands up and says a four letter word.  It’s the curse words of all curse words, in front of her KID.  What a sad world we live in. The kid was eight or ten at the most.

So here’s my question? Is it OK to beep the horn to get someone’s attention? If not, when is it appropriate to use your horn?

For about the past month or so I have really gotten slack about my blogging.
I’ve been so overwhelmed with my school work, my jobs, & family life.
Truth be known it was & still is my school work that is killing me.
I think Liberty University Online is trying to kill me!

Not that I think you can’t live without reading my blog or anything, because we all know what I put out there is just a little above crap.
I do enjoy writing them however, guess you could say they are therapeutic for me.
Anyway came across this video & thought I share it.
I do love a good Seinfeld video.

I sat today in my chair in the den doing my school work and took a break for a while to jot down the things that were coming together to ruin my day.

TODAY
• I could not read another page of effective biblical counseling.
• I lack the motivation to exercise, it’s just to hot.
• All my dreams feel a million miles away.
• I want to sleep and sleep some more.
• I’m tired of multitasking everything in my life.
• I am only one person.
• I am always thinking about tomorrow and not living in today.

Then I wrote all the things that I am thankful for and lucky to have.

• Great wife
• Swimming in a pool on a hot day
• Hanging out with close friends
• Vacations
• Long summer days
• Lighting bugs
• God’s love
• Fireworks
• Lemonade
• 2 awesome boys that have passion in everything they do

The good thing is I realize I have a lot more going for me than I do going against me and that my God is in FULL control.

I am in a counseling intensive for the whole week 8 hours a day & I must admit it is stretching me to the max.

How about you can you stay focused on one subject for 8+ hours

enjoy!
